A week (plus) ago I posted a riddle — what is this picture? And although the responses were underwhelming I keep my word and so here is the answer.
The cheapest storage solution for all those die cut letters that come out of my cuttlebug along with the letters I actually want — used medicine jars.
My uncle was collecting medicine jars for a clinic in his town. The whole family was collecting for him as well. I have allergies so I have a lot of these bottles. When my uncle got sick last year he didn't want to see anyone until he felt better. I kept collecting. Well if you are a reader of this blog you know my uncle passed away this summer. I still had a ton of jars and his wife said the clinic had moved out of town and she was not sure where to take them.
Being the frugal (read cheap) type that I am I found a use for them. I didn't have 26 jars but several letters can be used in place of each other. They are upside down because they were not as steady in the box lid right side up, the tops being larger than the bottoms and all. My next project is to put the letters on the bottoms as well.
So now for the big question. What do you do with all those extra die cut letters? Show me your storage or crafted solutions. There just may be a bit of die cut blog candy for your linking your solutions here.
Have a great day.
Kate

You could probably use egg cartons, or the dollar store has round acrylic jars in a tube. There are also metal round jewellry tins. Happy Thanksgiving, Hugs n Stuff, Lynne
