Playing with OWH Fundraiser stamps from Mama Elephant

I am a sucker for a deal. I love the clearance aisle, I love sales, and I love fundraiser stamps - especially fundraisers for OWH.

From time to time stamp companies produce fundraiser stamps for Operation Write Home. Recently it was Mama Elephant. Their "In My Heart" set has adorable children and sayings perfect for cards military personnel can send home to their loved ones.

Here are the first few cards I've made with the set.

I think this little girl looks like Boo from Monsters Inc., so I colored her that way.

If you're wearing jammies, you need to have a bed.

This is my favorite of the three, I love the look of bingo cards, and these little guys fit perfectly in the number squares. The yellow balloon is from Stampin' Up!'s Crazy for Cupcakes set. I had the balloon already colored on my desk. I cut it out and added a new string. I think it's perfect.

All these cards are destined for OWH.

Happy crafting,
Katie

OWH Challenge Accepted

I've been making cards for OWH, or Operation Write Home, for a while now. On the OWH blog this weeks  Midweek Throwdown challenged us to use Any Hero Soldier Image.

My military images are limited to a few Pure Innocence images from My Favorite Things, and a couple of digital images from Mo's Digital Pencil. Today I'm showing off the Pure Innocent cards.

I made several cards using the boy soldier and this image, for any hero cards.  Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of those cards, but I did send them out and Sandy's received them so they're on their way to our heroes.

Happy crafting,
Katie
